Nestling in the beautiful and tranquil Welsh Countryside at Moelfre - just outside Abergele, North Wales - this is an excellent value-for-money Troutmaster Fishery that is extremely convenient and also easy to fish.
Created many years ago, Tan-y-Mynydd is a fly fishing haven. The five lakes, which abound with aquatic life, will test the best angler - and yet give good fun and sport to the novice - be they young or old !
All the lakes are fully stocked with tough, fighting fit Rainbow Trout, supplied by their Main Supplier, Old Forge Trout Farm, and range from 2lb to 18lb - these are fish that bankside tales are truly made of !
One of the lakes is exclusively stocked with Brown Trout, which will no doubt prove popular with the traditionalist angler (light tackle recommended).
Each lake tends to fish differently but small Nymphs, Emergers and Buzzers should do the trick. The smaller fly seems to be the key here.
